The West Hartford Japanese Summer Festival, held at Blue Back Square in West Hartford, CT, on June 9, 2024, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, is a vibrant celebration of Japanese culture. The festival features a variety of performances and activities, including an opening speech by the Consulate General of Japan in Boston, traditional Shishimai dance, radio exercises, Jukido Jujutsu demonstrations, musical performances by the Japanese Language School, martial arts by Yozan LLC, and an Obon dance.
