The Japanese Fall Festival invites students and the community to enjoy an evening filled with authentic Japanese cultural experiences. Attendees can play traditional games, wear yukata, practice Japanese calligraphy, and savor free Japanese food. The event, supported by the Student Activities Fee, offers a unique opportunity for cultural exchange and celebration.

Hosted by the Japanese Student Association during International Education Week, this festival embraces the theme “Together is Better.” Inspired by traditional “Matsuri,” the event aims to bring people together through shared cultural experiences, games, clothing, and calligraphy. Supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government, this festival is free to all currently-enrolled U of A students.
