Join Kristin Eriko Posner of Nourish Co. at Baana for a conversation and demo on how to make a healthy, easy Japanese breakfast using the best ingredients from Japan and California. I will share the basic building blocks of Japanese cooking, resources for the best ingredients, and demonstrate how I transform an often time-consuming and elaborate meal into a simple weekday breakfast.

We’ll sit down together to enjoy a meal together, complete with a soothing pot of green tea from Spirit Tea. You’ll go home with my Japanese Pantry Essentials Guide, ingredients for your first batch of dashi from local and Japanese food artisans, and a gorgeous handmade ceramic bowl from Nama-ya, the local Japanese ceramicist behind many of dishes at Rintaro.

*Parking in this neighborhood is VERY limited. We highly recommend taking the cable car or Lyft/Uber. There are two parking garages in the area: North Beach Garage (735 Vallejo Street) and Fairmont Hotel Garage (950 Street).
