Discover the beauty and grace of Japanese folk dancing with Christine Inouye. Seize the moment and try your hand at these fun dances some old some newly choreographed, set to music with Japanese folk fusion ensemble Minyo Station.

This event is FREE including parking.

We are so proud and honored to have been invited back to the beautifully remodeled Ford Theatre set in the Hollywood Hills.

Joining me this year will be Minyo Dance group Hoshun-Kai led by Lisa Hashimoto-Elardo.

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and bring kachi kachi or Naruko (Japanese castanests), a tenugui or Japanese towel and Uchiwa fan. Complimentary fans will be provided by the Ford Theatre..

JAM Sessions are participatory and centered around movement and music. All JAMs are FREE, and all ages and skill levels are welcome.
