PALO ALTO, CA., April 13, 2016 Grandma's Treasures one-day-only sale will be held at the Palo Alto Buddhist Temple, located at 2751 Louis Road in Palo Alto, on Saturday, June 4, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The sale will feature Japanese and Asian-inspired art, antiques, vintage collectibles, china, textiles, home dcor and more. All items are donated pieces from the community. Some items date back as far back as 100 years, handed down within families for generations. There will also be other styles and varieties of goods available, not confined to Asian artifacts.

Many of the items have a story to tell heirlooms with a poignant family history attached. These include traditional dolls, kimonos, furniture, ceramics, scrolls, fans and much more that you just cannot buy anywhere these days. Contact Eimi Okano for family stories and more information.

Traditional Asian food and desserts will be available for purchase.

All proceeds will directly support the Palo Alto Buddhist Temple whose works benefit the community. The Palo Alto Buddhist Temple celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2014. Founded in 1914, the temple has been at its present location since 1954 and is committed to preserving its legacy for future generations.
