This session will center on the exhibition Greg Ito: Motion Picture. Ito is a fourth-generation Angeleno of Japanese heritage. His work explores cultural heritage, personal histories, and his feelings of being a character in a larger story. He utilizes symbolism and a graphic visual style as portals into his memories. Participants will receive a tour of the exhibition and will create collages inspired by his use of symbols to practice storytelling of our personal stories.

Refreshments will be provided.

The Long Beach Museum of Art Professional Development is generously supported by The Earl B. and Loraine H. Miller Foundation
