Our origin goes back two years ago to 2009. We are a company that was created from an organization called Orange Business Network where Japanese and Nikkei business men based in Orange County, California in 2009 gathered together. This organization focuses on Japanese business men with the purpose of sponsoring mutual support, exchanging of information and various study groups. This organization also started transmitting Japanese technology and culture to America by breaking down the bubble and overcame the effects of the recession back in November of 2009. The OC Japan Street Fair 2009 was planned and held under the theme of summoning the energy of Japanese people living in America and Japanese Americans and had roughly 10,000 spectators while in 2010, under the same theme, was able to gather 12,000 attendees. In 2011, with the volunteer members of the Orange business network, we began running as a formal event planner and management company and started further developing the events planned thus far and know-how of management as well as aiming to cooperate in various events in the Japanese community.
Activities in 2011 started with the Earthquake charity concert that was held on April 1st, the Japanese Sake gathering scheduled to be held in July, OC Japan Fair 2011 in September and has continued on with the San Diego Japan Fair set for May 2012. A company that develops business as a Japanese event planning and management firm that not only involves Japanese American mass media, community newspapers and various Japanese organizations but also US based organizations as well.
