Aloha Stadium is a multi-purpose facility located in Halawa, Hawaii, just outside Honolulu on the island of Oahu. Opened in 1975, it has long been the largest outdoor arena in the state, known primarily as the home of the University of Hawaii’s Rainbow Warriors football team. The stadium, which could seat over 50,000 spectators, was a landmark venue for major sports and entertainment events, including NFL Pro Bowl games, concerts, and high school sports championships.

A unique feature of Aloha Stadium was its movable stands, which could be reconfigured to accommodate different field layouts-such as for football, baseball, or soccer. The structure featured an open-air design, with orange-brown seating and a surrounding view of the Ko'olau mountain range, creating an iconic Hawaiian backdrop for events.

Due to age and structural issues, Aloha Stadium was eventually closed for major events in 2020, and plans for its redevelopment into a mixed-use sports and entertainment district are currently underway. The new Aloha Stadium project aims to offer a modern venue with integrated facilities for community and commercial use while maintaining its cultural significance to Hawaii.
