The Etherredge Center is a performing arts center located on the campus of the University of South Carolina Aiken in Aiken, South Carolina. It is home to the university's theatre, music, and dance programs, as well as a variety of community events.
The center was built in 1973 and was named for J. Henry Etherredge, a local businessman and philanthropist. It is a two-story, 12,000-square-foot building with a seating capacity of 750. The main auditorium is used for concerts, plays, and dance performances. There is also a smaller black box theater that is used for more intimate performances.
The Etherredge Center hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including the university's annual Winter Nocturne, a student-produced musical revue; the Joye in Aiken Jazz Camp; and the Oswald Writers Series. It is also a popular venue for weddings, corporate events, and other gatherings.
